Most couples I work with marry legally at home first, then travel to Sicily for a symbolic ceremony — no Italian paperwork, no residency requirements, just the celebration itself. If you’d like a legally binding ceremony here in Italy, that’s possible too with some advance planning, and I can put you in touch with celebrants who handle it.
Sicily has something to offer in every season. Spring and early autumn bring soft light and mild temperatures, while July and August — by far the most popular months for weddings and elopements on the island — offer long golden evenings, warm nights and vibrant color, especially with a ceremony timed around sunset. Whatever time of year you choose, we’ll plan around the light and the heat to make the day comfortable and beautiful.
