About me

It all began by chance — or at least that’s how it seemed. It was 2009, and as often happens with the most beautiful things in life, only later would you realise that chance had nothing to do with it.

I was working as a librarian at the University of Palermo when a colleague showed me some photographs taken in Africa. Lions, crocodiles, hippos in the Savanna. Images I had never seen before, yet I recognised them immediately as something I had been searching for without knowing it. From that moment on, light was never the same again.

I began to study, to seek out masters, to understand that photography doesn’t mean pressing a button — it means truly seeing. I chose weddings because I believe in love. Because there is nothing more alive than two people deciding to build something together, and there is no greater privilege than being there, quietly, to preserve those moments.

I am a member of ANFM, the National Association of Wedding Photographers, and I continue to grow every year because photography never stops teaching.

I have contributed my work to books such as “Palermo monamour” and “La Real Palatina” — projects that speak of this land I love deeply. I work almost exclusively with natural light, because artificial light tells a different story. I want to tell yours.
